it would be ok since they can't find jobs

It sounds like the police weren't fighting back much if the rioters got far. They really should have shot at the people throwing molotovs and firing lasers (with rubber bullets, preferably, but real could do it).

molotov cocktails, sure, but lasers are more annoying than dangerous.

Yeah, laser is not a threat to your life, molotov obviously is.

Wow, time for the police to up the level of force. Throwing a molotov cocktail at a cop is grounds to shoot to kill. I don't care if it causes more problems. You can't just set men on fire, regardless of who they are.

Ding ding ding. Do cops in greece even have guns?

Yeah, but they all look like the one on the red flag in that picture.

Riots. The apex of human mob mentality and chaos.

When the dust settles all you've accomplished is a ton of needless vandalism to your cities, merchants, and neighborhoods.
Yeah, you need the good mobs, the kinds that only go after the government officials who are the cause of the problem. They're the ones who deserve Molotov cocktails for lunch.

I wonder how many of the rioters accidentally set fire to a buddy's car or business.

Lemme see if I understand this correctly. The "protesters" want positive change in their government, but instead of using the non-violent channels available via their democratic system, they decide to burn, steal and destroy anything they can get their hands on while lighting cops on fire along the way?

This is just like the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles when "no justice no peace" turned into "I'm gonna get me some free shoes and a new widescreen!"

damn, Greece has some fine girls....

I noticed this too.
When I was in the Navy I got to see a little of Greece and a lot of Italy on deployments.
Overall I think I actually saw a higher concentration of hotties in Greece.

I think Italy has the same problem we do.
Commercialism and advertising only show us the best of the best. Its not really indicative of the general public.

Looks like the law enforcements level of force needs to be escalated.

This type of thing just can't be allowed to continue. I would support lethal force to stop it.

The green lasers can most certainly cause permanent eye damage. Those officers could be severerly injured depending on the intensity of the green laser.

I understand peaceful protests, and I know things can sometimes get a little out of control when people are frustrated and angry. Still, when these idiots start vandalizing, burning, looting etc -- and even worse, when they throw molotov cocktails at people, it's time to take drastic action. I give a lot of credit to those officers involved for showing restraint.

Everyone has a short fuse in the balkans, and the women are generally hot. except in albania, of course.

But why do the chicks turn ugly at 30? I was deployed in Bosnia and Kosovo, and we decided that it was the "Yeltsin" gene.

I should post pics of downtown Gnjilane when high school kids were being dismissed for the day.

It helps that the women walk to a cafe, rather than ride an SUV to Dunkin Doughnuts.

Funny, democracy was born from riots.

Riots are different from revolutions.

Freedom Fighters and Terrorists are the same thing. It only matters what side you are on.
