Congrats on the new house. I just got a new house as well, and I live right down the street from you in Aurora.....🙂

Beautiful Home, Congratulations!

But you might want to turn on the anti-aliasing a little bit on the roof.

It's hard to see in pictures but the roof is concrete tile. That's whats giving it's jagged edge.

so you must not be in the mountain part of colorado

I'm now in Castle Rock which is about 20 minutes south of Denver

Heh. Snow sticks longer there than here in the beige hell (Highlands Ranch).

The lady and I just signed contracts today to have ours built.

Check it out here.

Very Nice! What are housing prices in Indiana? That house would probably run 3-5 million where I live.

You have hijacked the thread. That is incredible.

About the original house in the OP, I'd love to know how big it is. Everybody is this thread is making it out to be huge but 2500sq feet is pretty normal and that is what it looks like to me.

Well, its going on just over 20 acres just west of Indianapolis. We bought it last year for about $120k... The house itself including landscape, paving, home theater equip, etc isnt anywhere near 3 million.

Around here a house like that would go for 1-1.5 million, I believe.

I like your style though. I plan on getting ~10-20 acres out in the country and building a place like that (wouldn't be that big though...but yeah).

new is good 🙂 how much was that place? minus land costs...

It was $235,000 and the builder payed all the closing costs and points on the loan. We financed through them and got a 30-Yr Fixed at 5.875%

Sweet deal!! A house like that here in the orange county area would run at least $650k

Pfff, can't even get a small condo for the price you paid...
