Just like the thread title says. I'm going to try and work out consistently and post pics at 4 weeks, 6 weeks, etc. If I don't post pics or I'm still a fatty you ridicule me.

IMG_0718.JPG

Started working out last week, my goal is 3-4 times per week with a 2 mile run and then 2 muscle groups of free weights/machines each workout.

Update 7/30:
"Update: by cutting my calories to ~1800 per days I don't work out and ~2500 on days I do I'm losing about a pound a day, at 184 right now. I'm going to do this for another week before coming back up some (I can't sustain these eating habits). Hoping to get under 180 by next Saturday when I'll post more pics."

Update 8/8:
New Pic, I've only dropped about a pound weight-wise (at 183) but I am feeling better and looking better. I'm confident things will keep looking better as I keep eating right and making it to the gym.

Also, here's another pic of the lady friend for participating in the thread.

You're like where I was a while back. Don't worry about progress every few weeks, worry about the months because you are going to need to put some time in IMO. If you stick with it you will see the results you want.

I'm gonna go with option #3, start ridiculing you now. :sneaky:

It's usually better if you have a specific goal in mind. IE. Gain 5lbs. 8% bf. Add 10lbs to my bench.

edit: gl btw

Great point. My goal is to lose 10 pounds in the next 2 months and to work out at least 3 times a week. My ultimate goal is to be healthy and these are great steps in that direction.

This.

Current stats? Height, weight, BF %, resting HR, BP, manhood size (j/k about the last one :p)

6'1", 189-192 depending on the day, no clue, no clue, no clue, above average. Not kidding about the last one.

I don't believe you.

I'm of similar size (6'1", 183) and have similar goals. My goals will change to gaining weight and strength whenever I build my home gym. However, finances and time do not permit that right now.

Its been a week, what's your progress

This. Shouldn't you have pics with a 6-pack up by now :p

I would have guessed you weighed more based on the pic and your height. It won't take you too long at all to drop that.

I would say the opposite. Because he is light for his height, that means he is probably going to build some muscle and his body isn't going to want to give up that fat easily. But since we aren't all built the same, maybe he will have luck and it will all come off fast.

I'd rather plan for the worst.

Hopefully the OP will update this. He wanted to lose 10 lbs. in 2 months. It's been 6 weeks since he started this thread at 189-192 lbs., so he should (hopefully) be around 182-185 lbs. by now.

For me, I've been lifting weights and watching what I've been eating, and I've dropped 7 lbs. down to 176 since my above post on 6/17 :D
