Well I've been here for 3 months now and GOVT internet blocks anandtech. Luckily where I'm at now they have commercial internet lines so I'm on a buddies laptop for a bit. I bought a laptop from Isekii so I can get in on the unrestricted FAST internet, so expect me to be a regular neffer in a few more weeks. Anyways, heres a few of my pictures. I'll definitly post more as time allows.

Round Two

Managed to borrow a laptop again and use this wonderful high speed internet. Hers some more pics. Once I get my own laptop I'll probably just make a gallery of some sort. Enjoy!

Holy crap TB!! I didn't realize you've been away so long let alone being stationed in Afghanistan.

Take care, man! 🙂

Edit: Excellent pics and post as many as you'd like while you're there. Quite interesting.

Shoot Osama in the balls for me please 🙂

Why do arm guys always seem to hold their gusn the way you do in your posing photo?

thanks for sharing the pics.

A good friend of mine just got back from Afghanistan about a month ago. He's with the 501st Airborne. Didn't have too many pictures, though.

Stay safe and thank you for your service.

It's called "at the ready"

It's the best compromise between safety and reaction time. Pointing at the ground, just low enough to not shoot other soldiers. High enough that it can be brought up quickly to hit a bad guy.

The finger is on the trigger assembly but not the trigger because a bad stumble might lead to an accidental shot.

And of course, OP: thanks for your service :wine:
