I was just in CC and did not get the 10 MIR either. Supposedly a Mfr MIR, but did not print with receipt, can't find it online. CC add flier says it is a Mfr MIR...did get the $20 IR though. What's up?
The rebate is a $10 peel-off on the front of the box. Expires 12/31/2002 and must be received by 12/31/2003. Also says if you have questions to call 800-622-4445 - between 8:30AM and 5:30PM EST on weekdays. So maybe they could mail you one. There were about 3 different packages of this program that looked the same, so I just made sure mine had the right SKU.
SKU 659556721633 - same number is on the CC pricetag as well as the Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity barcode/SKU - that you send in for proof of purchase. I think you're definitely going to have to call up M$oft or go back to the CC store and exchange it or see if the coupon "fell off the box" from some other retailer

I already got this for free, along with M$ Flight Sim 2002, Asheron's, Frontpage, and a few other titles for passing those retail reseller tests about a month ago. Oh yeah, plus a free M$ Flight Sim 2002 T-shirt. I'm a little afraid to wear it, though. It has a pic of a commercial airliner on the shirt and I'm afraid someone might accuse me of being a terrorist.

He came back after like 15 minutes and said he could not find it anywhere.
We promptly went to the returns desk where I got a COMPLETE refund then walked right out the door.
Yep, out the door with software in hand and all I paid was one cent. Seems they cannot sell anything for zero. Must be one cent.
That is ok though.............................. I didn't pay tax, didn't need to waste a stamp and don't need to wait for a rebate that may never show.
NOW.............. I can even try to mail in the rebate and see what happens. Heck, I may make $10

FYI - I've sent in rebates to microsoft before without have the "original" form and it worked fine.
Anyone tried PMing this at Staples, now that they do the 110% thing? Since the selling price is $10, you could end up getting it for $8 less $10 rebate.

Also note that the box for the $49.99 Platinim Edition of "Picture It!" looks a lot like the basic version. So be sure to check the box carefully so you don't pick up the wrong one.
I also picked up the 50 pack of TDK CD-Rs. As others have noted, that one is actually free after rebate and not $4.99 as in the print circular.

I once got a raincheck from them for a Firewire card for free after rebates. The only problem was that after a month they still hadn't got it in, so I just cancelled the order.
I found this in stock at a local Staples today and got them to PM under their new 110% price matching policy. They did it pretty willingly and I ended up paying $7.99 and there is the $10 rebate. I probably don't need it, but I can't turn down better than free .
