Yes, 3dM '06 seems to like Nvida cards better than ATI cards for some reason. I'll wait for game benchies. Don't place so much stock in synthetics.

I read somewhere that the 7900GTX picture is fake and looking at it, that seems to be the case:

What the hell is that white circle all around the fan? See how it extends beneath the fan? Why isn't the left King Kong/Asus image even lined up straight? etc. The 7900GTX is a crappy photoshop.

I wonder what this beast is going to go for? I can't believe that the initial rumors of $499 for the 7900GTX 512 can be right. I think more like $599. With initial demand driving it up to $650.....

If I can get the 7900GTX 512 for $550 at launch. Its mine......

I find it hard to believe that such a tiny heatsink is enough for the 7900gt, i would expect something at least like the 7800gt, but then again the new 90nm process might help with heat dissipation quite a bit. THen again the ram chips don't have any sort of heat dissipation with that HSF, and if it's really running at 1400 i'm wondering about that just a bit. In any case if that's really stock HSF this thing will probably go sky high on overclocks with a nice nvSilencer5.
