Pics of new computer build.

Very clean wiring and hardware arrangement!! A+

Is that exhaust fan the thermaltake 130mm??? Silent Wheel or whatever?

If so, how do you like it? Hows the CFM/dba?

Thank you very much. It's easy with today's power supplies and well designed cases. That is the new Thermaltake 130mm fan.

It's a nice fan, no complaints, and it is quiet even at full speed but the blades are exactly comparable to a 120mm fan and aren't any bigger so the advertising is a bit misleading. But it's still a good fan that also looks nice, and unique.

cfm = 55
dba = 16

OMG you are 100% correct!!! I bought one of these "just because" and haven't even used it yet, but after reading your post I slapped one of my Cooler Master clear LED fans on top of the Thermaltake "130mm" and the blades were IDENTICAL. The housing is different and gives the illusion of a larger fan but the blades are in fact exactly the diameter of those on a 120mm fan. Indeed the blades look completely identical down to the shape compared to my Cooler Master. Now I feel ripped off. :disgust: My Cooler Master fans were cheaper and IMO looks better than the Halloween colors of orange/black that Thermaltake uses. Also, the "unique" housing will cause it to not work in some circumstances.

Very nice and clean. :thumbsup: What kind of heatsink is that? Its so small

It's a massive 1U heatsink that's designed to run without a fan. I know it looks small but in your hand it's very heavy and impressive looking. That's an overclocked 3700+ and it runs at 42C with the fan spinning so slow that the BIOS can't report the speed. (This is under medium Windows load.) During gaming I turn the fan up to about 1800rpm, which is still very quiet, and the temps don't break 50. It's really an excellent heatsink but I don't know how it came into my posession. Using AS5.

Edit: To give you an idea of footprint that is an 80mm case fan on top of the heatsink.

Nice job organizing the cables, One thing i suggest is to use a longer IDE cable and fold it.It will help make it appear cleaner.

the case is a lian li v1000 not v1200. i think? and why do people insist on using thermaltake products??? i just dont understand. well in this case its just a fan so w/e.

Dude, that thing looks great. I wish I saw this post a while back; I considered that case but was too scared to mount the mobo "upsidedown" and face any unknow issues. It looks like it worked out great for you. Nice job.

Really really nice wire arrangement tho.... I wish i had a bigger case so i could do that
