Paid $329 CAD for it, it's a refurb with a 1 year warranty. It came with the original manual + driver CD, and it only has a bit of adhesive on the corner I need to clean off (probably a pricetag or something).

So far I can tell you it's a very clean picture, colours look much more realistic, overall I can highly recommend it.

I think it might even be worth the $$$ to grab a nice Better Cables.com Silver Serpent VGA cable.... though a 6 footer will cost $100 USD *ouch*

I was looking for a monitor that had BNC hookups, but with this thing on sale for so cheap (reg price ~$450CAD), I couldn't say no :)

I bet they'd help a fair bit though :)

No Aol on my comp ;)

Awesome! A friend of mine just got this monitor also and I think it's great.

Now I'm jealous of both of you. :(

HMM...looks an awful lot like mine, except it's the PS790, and I paid about 600 bucks for it when they first came out.

I have a BNC5 cable on my Samsung 900NF. No noticeable visual difference at 1152x864, but I do use the dual-inputs.

Most user accounts I've seen say the same thing.. don't expect any quality difference from a BNC5 cable at normal resolutions. *Maybe* at ultra-high modes.

PWNED! by a senior member  ;)

Aves, hehe, one day your turn will come to :)
I had enough of my dying 15inch TTX :(

Russ, that's the older model I assume. Still nice though :)

Manly, I guess I'll have to reconsider the cable thing then :D

Crab, mine have Neutrik RCA connectors on the ends, I ripped the 1/8th plug off by accident :Q
It's connected to the sound card via a monster cable 1/8 to dual RCA cable. Works well :)

Aves, Cicero eh? :)

I'll probably get around to it one day, maybe when the fall semester starts. I have a 17" Viewsonic Flat Screen right now and I love it.

I just want something that's closer to the 21" Sony Flatscreen I use at work, it has spoiled me. Viewsonic still has a better picture IMO.

Heh, if I hadn't have found this deal, I would have gotten a (new) PF775. Sweet monitors too.
19's the max I can fit in my desk :D

i personally don't like viewsonic (killer quality, but overpriced) or sony (don't get me started...) Gimme a samsung or NEC/Mitsubishi any day :) Viewsonics are very nice if you can get a deal on 'em, but that's rare.

BTW, i think 1600 x 1200 @ 85Hz warrants a nice BNC5 cable :)

Slightly OT: I have a MAG brand monitor, some Amish company they sell at best buy. Bought it around xmas for $170 with mail in $70 rebate. 19''mon .21 dot pitch, and resolutions so high i cant even see the text under the icons. Point is, its a really badass monitor for $100!! I know it sounds ghey, but I couldnt pass up a 19'' monitor with 3 yr warranty for a hundred bux. And it turned out to be an awesome monitor.

/me is proud

Nope. That's a PF-790. The PS-790 is an older monitor and not a Flat Screen.
