Well, all you folks keep posting pics of your desks, well, I decided that now that mine is close to completion, I would post some pics of it here.

They areenot in order, but Hey at least you are getting some PICS!!

The System you see are all built by me as well.

The Monster Black tower is a P IV 2.8 GHZ with 1 gig of ram. 4x 80 gig hdds, and 4x60 gig hdds striped. it alsohas 2 40 gig hdds that are mirrored as the boot drives. Running W2003K Server

The little System to the left of it is a Dual P III 800 with 1 gig of ram and 1 9 gig SCSI boot drive. It is running W2K AS with AD, DHCP, DNS, and a web server.

The other systems are Win XP and a LINUX workstation.

I am working on getting other systems up and running as well.

And Yes, the MONSTER is running Dual Monitors as well as the XP workstation on the right.

Oh yeah, a link would be nice.

Nice. I want to build myself a big corner desk setup like that sometime. No offense, but you might want to slap a coat of varnish on that or something. :p

Actually, It will get organized, just as soon as I can find some more time to finish up the shelf above it, and get some book shelves

seems like everyone has those leather office chairs, and imo, they suck. once the cushion goes flat and the thin/cheap leather starts to rip, its gone. mine has no more cushion, and the bolts that hole the bottom onto the hydraulic part are poking through.

but nice computer setup.

I have one of those at home....lol its at home with my 10 year old sister....runs runs it at a 640*480 resolution 256 colors b/c she think it cooler more "Stylish" than 800*600 16 bit :p Then again all that seems to get done are random games that she gets in cereal boxes and doing a lotta paint ;)

On a serious note. I've really considered building my own L-desk and I sort of like the way yours came out. Any more plans with it? You mentioned "close to completion" in the op.

Edit: If it were me I would hit it with some filler, box the "front" legs to make them more decorative, and stain it.

It may be ghetto, but it is sturdy and cheap.

I will be painting it with garage floor paint. I figure if the paint can stand up to being driven on, it can take what I throw at it.

I also will be mounting a shelf right above the moitors, for books, CDs, Software.

I will also be adding some more systems. Like an NT Workstation, a NT Server, 98 and 95 stations. Who knows what else.

I plan to dress up the wires a bit, as my 2 year old son will probably be coming down to see me some as I work on systems.

BTW, the desk itself is 12 ft long on one leg, and 10 ft on the other. It is 36 inches wide all the way/ So I guess it is not only a desk, but a work bench

Very nice. Any pics of the underneath? I'd like to see what you have supporting all those monitors.

I built an individual desk out of the same materials it looks like, but there is no way I would trust it to hold up more than two monitors.
