i didn't see this thread was bumped back up recently. I go back to the doctor thursday to decide if they want to do another skin graft or if they just want to let it cover itself over with scartissue. It's already healing around the edges a lot. I'll post a current pic if one is wanted.

pic1 around the edge is the scar tissue that is growing. all the wholes are from staples that held the skin graft on
pic2 the place to the left is where they took the skin from for the skin graft that didn't work

the way i see it even if i get another skin graft it will still look like crap so i might a swell let the whole thing cover over with scar tissue and avoid another surgery.

i forgot to post about that. a guy that was there, that i know, thinks some people might have pushed me. but he was very drunk too and this was in another city so i don't think i'll ever find them or find out if its true.

hes currently about as much together as he was in the get go. he still has a nice 1.5" wide gash exposing muscle and fat and to go with that he also has a nice wat looks to be road rash but actually from the skin graft all of 3 to the side of the gash.

well its been about 3 weeks since they took the skin. i don't know what the end result will look like.

The doctor hadn't had one fail in 4 years. He said i should have been a prime candidate being young, healthy, no diabetes, no smoking. Now i just hope he doesn't want to do another one.

about 1/3 the size it was when my leg was swollen the most. but i think the swelling has gone done all the way in my thigh so i don't think the hole will get any smaller

i'm on no antibiotics and i stopped taking the percocet because i had built up a tolerance to it anyways.
