Not quite as dramatic ;)

Wow, looks like it healed rather nicely. When I was a kid I had some pretty invasive hip surgery and I nearly 20 years later I still got some ugly scars on my legs from the surgery.

My little brother sent me these pics of what happens when you don't get a deep puncture wound treated. (Keep that leg clean! :Q)

First you notice the pain and puss...
Then you open it up and find sh!t growing in there that wasn't supposed to be.
So, they have to remove it.

Yummy. Think I want some pasta for lunch.

Hmm...from a medical point of view, that is very interesting to see the tendons and musale and whatnot in your hand. And to think how incredibly complex it is to transplant them.

you'd probably make a good surgeon, with that kind of approach to the body :)

I can't wait to show my wife tonight.

Part of me is tempted to make it her DESKTOP BACKGROUND, LOL!

And you don't have to think, either. :)

Honestly, if you've hunted before and dressed out a carcass, this is nothing much to see. The OP's pic reminded me of field dressing deer, which reminded me of venison... so now I'm off to make a sandwich. D*mn you for wrecking my diet.

Well the deer is dead, the OP is still alive and kicking!!:Q

this is the upper leg, where the staples are is my hip where they actually opened it up to put the rod and screws
