Pics of MSI Nforce board

It looks like that thing doesn't have an AGP slot? More like an extended AMR slot or somethin... If it is an AGP slot...look how far away it is from the 1st PCI slot???? The length and width of that AGP slot looks wrong to me...

3 memory slots...1 shared for video memory? If on board video is not used, is that slot wasted?

Yah it does look a little strange, its definately not an AGP pro slot.

I think the two close together slots are for dual channel, but im not sure, gonna go back and read the nforce review. 😀

From anand,
"Since the reference board does use the 420 chipset, there are two independent memory banks present. The first is a single 184-pin DDR SDRAM bank and the second is a combination of two 184-pin DDR SDRAM banks. In order for you to take advantage of the two memory controllers a DIMM must be present in the single bank and one DIMM must be present in one of the two remaining slots. Otherwise the motherboard will default to 64-bit operation, effectively making this board a 220-D. "

I think the article says it has an AGP...
"Cette carte sera équipée de 5 ports PCI, d'un port AGP, d'un port CNR, de 3 emplacements mémoires DDR (maximum 1.5Go), de 6 ports USB, d'une sortie TV et d'une sortie SPDIF. "

That just doesn't look right :/ The slot looks to be way too far back from the end of the board to be useable by any current videocards.

I relooked at it and compared it to a real motherboard. It looks like it sits at the right spot, but the agp slot is backwords?
