Pics from a Digital Rebel (300D)

My sister brought home a 300D this weekend from work, and I got a chance to play around with it today. Here are some sample pics (they're full size, so don't complain):

My car keys
The cat

They're kind of washed out, but the light isn't good right now for picture-taking.

I need a digital camera...🙂

I can't really see the quality of this camera, can you take pic of your CC? 😉

As far as teh lighting being wrong or not good, its just that you don't know how to meter/expose the picture better. The auto feature does a pretty good job, however.

yeh, i wanna see that resolution too 😀

Yeah, if you invest in an expensive prosumer/professional camera, for the love of god learn how to use its features and develop a eye for things. It makes me cringe to see people running around with expensive $1500 SLR digital cameras and using them just for snapshots in full automatic mode, and when I ask them what type of lens they have they're clueless.
