pics.bbzzdd.com rollback to 2.x

With all the complaints about the site speed and all, I am seriously considering rolling back to the old version.

The question is, if I can make the site fast enough with the new version would that be acceptable, or just to hell with it go back to what worked for years.

I see two options:

1. Turn off a lot of the stuff enabled right now in 3.xx. All the mouseovers, lots of the last-viewed stuff.
2. We could pretty up the interface of 2.xx and keep a lot of the stuff we shoulda put in right away, like the gallery view and marking stuff private.

I like the old format, where i can easily see the last 25 pics, the top 25 recent, and it was once click two view a pic, not 3.

Why do I have to click twice to view a picture when I'm browsing a gallery? It's annoying.

I vote to make 3.0 quicker. Failing that, rollback to 2.x

Hell yes.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the new features of DannyBoy's 3.0 but my two complaints are:

• 1) I prefer the old simple interface and not having to click 3 times to view a pic.
• 2) SPEED. A lot of AT'ers were whining about bbzzdd's sluggish response times and I can confirm it is very slow. This isn't necessarily because of 3.0 but I remember 2.x being faster.
