That's not it at all...whether it's free or not I lost data that I could have hosted on my site.

You owe the users security or to be pretty clear that we should make our own backups...that would have been fine.

We run a couple free mail lists with pretty high volumes and do not charge and luckily our lists have not gone down once except for planned maintenance during non-business hours...however our free counterparts have and the crap really hits the fan when it does, regardless of 'free'.

I really was trying not to be flaming but more of critical and to the point.

Good luck with the new base and I hope it eventually grows...it's a good service don't get me wrong, just that I have space I would have used , not everyone has that though nor the bandwidth.
