Pickup truck pricing mistake

Looking at that model further its the lowest trim. It might be a manual. Still seems pretty inexpensive compared with others.

Go for it. Although, IMHO, considering a trim package as important on a full size truck is kinda silly but, I'm sure used car salesman would disagree. 🙂

It's a 7 year old truck. I had a 2005 SLT 5.7L 4x4 that I paid $19k for. $8,500 seems about right given the miles, model, and age.

And the tailgate confirms it.

All those pictures are stock photos, not pictures of the actual truck itself. For example, the engine bay shot shows the 5.7L hemi while the specs state it has the smaller 4.7L, and the color is a gold/tan while the specs say white.

seems about right for lowest trim level and smallest engine. if you are looking to tow much it may be worth looking for the next size up engine.

Anybody know of any issues with the 2005 Dodge Rams? If this is a 4x4 it will fit the bill nicely.

I had a couple co-workers who bought Ram trucks real cheap back when Chrysler was in hot water, I think they may have been 2006 models. One had an issue with the rear end that apparently was a common problem. The rear end seized up while he was pulling away from a stop, he had the hemi in his truck and it had enough torque to break the u-joint where the drive shaft attaches to the pinion, after that the drive shaft swung around under the truck and tore up the undercarriage. His truck was still under warranty and the dealer took care of everything, he was without a vehicle for about 3 weeks though.

I want to say there was a recall for the problem, you might do some reasearch.

I called them up and its already been sold. Crud. Guess I gotta get off the couch and go to the lots. Doesn't look like they keep their websites up to date.

nope about right.

i was looking for a new van or truck about 4 months ago. that seems to be the price.
