No Lenovos for me. They are a shady company. Even the link you provided, has a Lenovo rep blatantly lying (its about upgrading RAM).

Shady as in inserting hard code into the bios to spy. On 4 occasions. Also on the Amazon link, Lenovo rep said you couldn't upgrade ram, reviewers said you can, upto 32gb.

Also, read this thread.

The thread you re linking is irrelevant, what does it have to do with the Thinkpads..?

Those are more than decent offerings, so far they re the only ones that can be upgraded up to 64GB RAM, and Notebookcheck review is telling despite this site not being AMD friendly.

The link you posted is more viral marketing than anything else, all firms include bloatwares of all sort, not sure that Lenovo was the first one on this respect, and beside you can re do an OS install or even buy it OS less.

Out of curiosity, how much power was it using to hit that score?

Hmmm a pretty good amount. It was well over the 95W TDP, I can tell you that. CBR15 isn't that stressful (compared to Prime95i) but it got up there, probably 120W or so?

Shows just how much more efficient Zen architecture is compared to Con cores. Obviously there's a big power savings moving to finfets, but well over 95W compared to ~10 W performance, there's a huge architectural efficiency advantage as well. I'm excited to see what AMD's 7nm mobile chips will look like.
