Picked up a copy of GRID, now need a controller

I bought the original GRID the other day for $15, and am quite impressed. But I've been using the keyboard to steer with, and that's frustrating.

Are there any decent controllers out there I can use with my PC? I don't need anything fancy, but solid.

Pretty much any Xbox 360 wired controller will work best, or the Logitech one.

A wired Xbox 360 gamepad or Xbox One gamepad will work great with almost all newer PC games, GRID included.

I used a wireless one for the time that I played it and had no issues.

I've been using a wireless 360 controller for a couple of years now and it works flawlessly. Never had a single issue.

PS2 controller all the way. Only downside for what you want it for is it lacks pressure sensitivity in the triggers. Makes it a all or none for racing.

I love the wireless 360 controller for the PC. Never had a single issue with connectivity. It can be annoying to power down (it will stay on quite a bit longer than it should when receiving no input, so I just pop the battery pack real quick when I'm done with it), but apart from that, it's perfect. Works with every game straight out of the box.

I used the wired 360 controller. No batteries to change or charge.

The DualShock 4 is also pretty nice for PC gaming. You just need the DS4 to XInput Mapper driver package.
