Shouldn't be tough at all to get that covered with $350.

Are you looking for silence by any chance?

yes well silence would be nice as long as there is not "TORNADO" fans in there the one I think vantec makes with 51 DB's LOL.

NEC makes good value DVD burners. I have the older 3520 and it's working great.

I'm not sure if your motherboard doesn't like certain brands of memory, but jpeyton's budget is right. Don't spend more than $100 on a gig of ram.

The XClio will be good and quiet. As long as you're not running a ton of stuff in your computer (lots of harddrives etc.), you will be fine with that.

You can spend more on the PSU if you want to, but it probably wont be neccessary. If you want somthing that's very quiet, check out Seasonic. I have the 430watt S12 running my 3200+ system and it's working quite well.

I have this ram, a 3200+ venice and the same mobo you have.

This ram is perfect for your motherboard if you want to OC. After adding a 80mm fan and doing some bios tweaks im running 250mhz 1:1 @ 2-2-2-5 1T. It takes 3.32 volts, but thats what the DFI mobo is for. As for my CPU im up to 2.6-2.7ghz 100% stable with the stock cooler. This OCZ value VX is a perfect match for your setup if you want to do any OCing.

I also don't do DL burn on SL so what is the fastest CD-R, CD-RW, dvd-R, dvd-RW burner? also what is the best one with the quickest acess time for cd's and DVD's?

I wouldn't mess around with the airflow the PSU is designed to get if I were you.

Is there a reason you really want that one? Thermaltake makes some decent products, but I dont' think I'd be looking at them in this pricerange.

Even if you do only have one of its fans running, it's probably not going to be as quiet or move as much air as a 120mm fan would.

could I replace it with 2 120 stealth fans, also If I where to get a psu I would want an OCZ,PC&P (outta price range), and a thermaltake, or antec. I heard those are the brands to trust I really have never heard anything about xclio or seasonic and sound isn't the biggest problem since the PC i'm on now is hella loud.

I would say OCZ, PC power and cooling, and antec are a step above Thermaltakes.

Some other good brands are Fortron, Sparkle, and yeah, Seasonic :)

I'm using my NEC for SL DVD burning and have burned over 100 CDs with it. I'm not sure if it's the best, but it's a very good one especially for hte price.
