Gpu sapphire x-vapor hd 7770

These are my specs

I want a video card that can handle games like Arma 3, Skyrim and with good FPS with a lot of npcs on the mad and stuff... Little crazy talk here..

I'm willing to spend 200 on a video card and I don't know anything about them.. So I'm leaving it up to you guys to pick for me and make sure it's compatible with a 500 powersupply thanks

I would look at the r9 290 on ebay and see if you can get it for less than $200.

That's definitely the best deal, but I wouldn't really advise someone who states quite clearly that they don't know anything about video cards to buy a used card. A new MSI Twin Frozr or Gigabyte R9 280 with a 3 year warranty is what I'd recommend.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I'd buy a used Radeon card off of eBay right now. There is a good chance that it got cooked by running a Cryptocoin miner on it 24/7 for the last 6 months.

I think a used 290 would be fairly reliable, but if you don't trust it used then a 280 is definitely the best deal. Once in a while you'll see a 280x or 770 get into the $220-$240 range, but you'll still be spending quite a few extra bucks even after a sale on one as opposed to the 280.

Do yourself a serious favor and add an SSD boot drive. Changes the whole feel of the computer.

Definitely the best thing you can do for an upgrade outside of getting more fps. Do this as soon as you have a chance.

There are some pretty good rebates going on for these cards. My vote is on the 280x still if you have the extra money for it. If not then the one with 1000 core looks pretty nice too. Sapphire also has some nice 280 cards for fairly cheap. Both are great brands.

If I were to get a R9 280 what's the best brand to get it from i would really appreciate if you guys looked on newegg for me that's where I get my stuff and gets to my house fast.

I've used Saphire, Gigabyte, VisionTek, MSI, and have had no problems with them. I currntly have an Asus R9 280x and its a pretty nice card.

Good price for an R9 280X. Still, a MIR is just a perk - waiting weeks for a rebate "card" that may or may not come through doesn't bring it down to $200 or less out of pocket right now.

The top one is better, but even better is a $170 MSI Gaming R9 280:

The XFX R9 280X for $195 linked above is also a great deal since that card has lifetime warranty after registration.

For your next CPU platform upgrade, unless AMD improves performance significantly, consider going at least Intel i5. It will help a lot in CPU limited games like Skyrim and Arma 3.
