Which has the best price/performance? I'm looking at probably the morgan (?) based new durons. I'm wondering which is the good choice, as stated before, I'm looking mostly at the above 1Ghz CPUs. Any help is very welcome.
 
I agree, 1GHz Duron (Morgan) is the best deal for $46 shipped. It overclocks to 1200MHz easily and clock for clock is very close to a Thunderbird in performance. An added extra is that it runs much cooler. The Celeron 1.0a is also a good choice, about $69 shipped and hits 1400MHz easily. You can get an ECS motherboard that will run it at 1333MHz for $50 shipped. But I prefer the Morgan platform because of DDR performance, you can unlock the Morgan and lower the multiplier and raise the fsb to at least 133MHz for 266MHz DDR speed.
