Ooops you are right. Still the M3 has the better engine (imho) and gets a better gas mileage. The S4 might be more comfy though

Even thought Im a BMW fan Id go for the S4 for sure IF its going to be your only car. If you already have something practical then go for the M3 as its so big fun.
