I got a not so hot response in another thread that swords were mentioned in (maybe because it was OT.. ) Anyway, here is a pic of a "quality" 440 stainless Katana that I fought with for about 20 minutes. It used to be sharp, but now it could be a woodsaw.

Here is a pic of my 2 combat quality katanas, both have had several hours of full contact use. The sword on top is a Chinese War sword. Boxer Rebellion, most likely ceremonial. 3 swords

I don't have vids... I never liked that idea. I have a chainmail shirt that I wore, along with a neck protector thingy. It would decrease teh chances of my head getting lopped off. We fought to first blood, no matter how small - even getting kicked and scraping your elbow.
