All GeForce series 8 and newer cards will get full PhysX support with a little help of the guys from Ageia and NVIDIA's CUDA team. enough said. Im using it now with 257.xx works flawless on a phsyic demo and transfer rate is close to 300mb a sec. thanks gl,

Nvidia's beta drivers for Physx have given his drives close to 300MB/second data transfer rate during a demo. But he won't buy until his his current drives die. Or are in a coma. Or have a seizure. Thanks. Good luck.

well that was certainly your most coherent comment so far but physx has been in the drivers for probably a couple of years or more.
 
I dont get this thread...is this guy serious? Has he lived under a rock for the past couple of years or what? I mean, how the hell can you be a frequent on these forums and know SOMETHING about computer tech and NOT know this already? Damn...
 
I heard that they are coming out with something called a "3D Accelerator" which is going to be, or so they say, able to render 3D objects more quickly and efficiently! Amazing.

Yup, Pre-ordered my Virge DX already. Can't wait, excitement building! I know a guy on the inside who got one on the sly. They are passively cooled and I heard get pretty warm, so I'm going to cross fire a couple case fans.

Based on his recent posts, I'm preeetty sure Tweakboy is referring to the new options for physx in the new 256.xx drivers. It's nothing special really, but it is different than current 197.xx drivers.

only a few such as Dark Void, Batman and Mirrors Edge have optional hardware level physx available in the game settings. the vast majority of games that use physx use low level effects that even the console versions get. not to sound mean but for someone on a forum such as this you seem to always be out of the loop.

You say old news and move on....some people's lives don't rise and set in this forum full of 20 year old gamers...
 
Wow, everyone is missing the fact that he is no talking about PhysX, he is talking about Physic. I've personally never heard of Physic but if it's an evolution of PhysX, it should be something good. Got any links?

the very fact that someone is in this forum means they are at least paying a little attention to video cards. tweakboy has a history of making ridiculous posts and saying bizarre things. if he is interested in physx then surely he has the capacity to do a little research on his own. physx is something Nvidia pushes and its hardly a secret which big games utilize it. I really dont think people have been all that mean about it.
