I think it was the day Clinton, a liberal elected twice by liberals, created the ATF and the assault weapons ban, and started dictating to law-abiding gun owners what we "need". That and many conversations I've had with liberals trumpeting European gun laws (many of which are effectively bans).

Whatever some individual liberals think, you can't deny gun control is part of the liberal political platform.
