Question Physical location of cores on a chiplet - cooling optimalisation - 4+4 processor makes sense?

After reading some comments from one user on a local forum about how his 5800X is getting hot, I began thinking if a two chiplet 8 core with 4+4 configuration with active cores placement optimised to facilitate cooling makes sense as a standalone product.

Can you read in Ryzen master or elsewhere, which cores are disabled in a 5900X procesor?

How exactly are the cores on a chiplet numbered?

Knowing the real physical location of cores could allow to turn cores off in a pattern optimal for cooling on 5900 or 5950 CPU to test, if a 4+4 CPU makes sense.
