1. two simultaneous equations, substitute the 2nd into the first.

2. Force balance to get your equations...

Fnet = Fgrav, Keplar's 3rd law...

After deriving, you will get something like:

T²/R³ = (4 * pi²)/(G * Mearth) Assuming circular orbit.

R = Rmoon, Rsat = X * Rmoon where X = some fraction of the radius of Rmoon which is given in your problem statement.

still having problems? its pretty much solved now... Just work out the derivation - very easy, get the formula i posted, then substitute.
