Well the illusion in Excell is actually very nice. Alt-tabbing between spreadsheets is nice, but having them both in the same frame is also nice. I found out how nice this illusion was when I had to temporarily use Office 2k for a while and the only way to switch between spreadsheets was minimizing one and maximizing the other. I think the hybrid works better than either way to be honest.

What's so hard about the "Window->Sheetname" menu? I don't have an Office2K machine handy to verify it's there, but IIRC it's been there since at least '97.
