photoshop jsut crashed after about 40min of work

Who cares. You're supposed to save every 5 min or so, even less. Idiots don't save.

Everytime I pause in writing a paper or making an image, I hit CTRL S. You might as well as you're trying to figure out what you do next.

Heh. I press CTRL+S every 10 seconds when I am typing. I don't press it once either. Every so often I'll miss the CTRL and have about 4 or 5 's' on my screen.

btw to those who comment about saving, ppl do save as to keep record of different copies of the same project.

usually i'd just copy the file, rename it, and then worked on the renamed file.
 
it jsut crashed after you jsut did 40 minutes of work after you jsut ate breakfast that was jsut a bit too hot because the stove was jsut set a little wrong, it was jsut over 50 when it should have been jsut over 40 and the adjsut button wouldnt change because it jsut rusted when you jsut ate cereal

try to save every 10 min...i know it's a drag, but when you loose almost an hr. it sucks bigtime and just brings down moral so much....happened to me one too many times

I do, but I was messing with some filters to achievea variety of effects for somethign that I am doing and was constantly adding multiple layers of lighting, retracting on that decision etc...I finally had gotten somewhere, added one final light and..
