I have a photo taken way high up from parasailing of the water. I want to try and make it look like this other image I have is UNDER that water. the other image has a transparent background aside from the actual image.

is there anyway to kind of "blend" the 2nd image with the water, to give it the affect that its underwater?

as in a way, i mean a way that a non-expert can do?

I wish I made the hex logo a little brighter, because it lost some of its brightness once i made it opaque. i already submitted it to the contest though, but i still think it came out great 🙂
 
You could try the blending mode on overlay for the background (that be the layer on top)....and try to adjust the layer's opacity and fill properties until your satisfied...Then, the layer that you want to be not transparent stays below the background layer. That layer should be untouched...

The blending mode multiply might work for well fo you. Adjust opacity to taste. If you dotn like multiply, try other blending modes.

You should make the hex symbol a "dharma" symbol and put it on the net. Maybe it will spark "Lost" episode controversy. 😉
