im at work and i have to resize about 50 pictures all to 600 pixels

instead of diong this all by hand one at a time, isnt there a way that I can tell it to resize all of them automatically with a batch script or something?

please help

Use an action (create a new one to resize images how you want if needed) then use the batch utility to run that action on your images.
 
Seriously, if you already have Photoshop using an action and the batch utility is very simple.
