I have my mind set on fucking climbing that concrete monolith by now. Any ATOT climbers? I was going to use very basic safety precautions for myself, but I know the couple friends I went with would want to do it, too. But I just wouldn't be comfortable letting them climb without setting up some redundant safety.

As you would expect, I am not a rock climber or anything. I just have basic rappelling experience, know how to tie knots, ect. Basically, I can tie some rope around myself and take care of my own safety when it comes to non-technical climbing/descending, but that's it.

I thought I'd post these. The friend I went with had the camera and was hanging back for a while. Probably snapped the best pictures of the day, unbeknownst to me (...I'm in the goddamned pictures).

The tall one seems like it could be a movie poster. I was wondering why that bastard was so far away (taken with a typical consumer-level DSLR telephoto lens).
