I saw this at an advertisement billboard.
Laurits Andersen Ring could really paint very beautiful.

Jan van Huysum was photochopping in 1724. The wiki link has my favorite painting. The original was less than 2 feet wide. Note the ants and droplets of water. I have a giclee hanging in my living room.
 
Painting in the OP is very nice and well done, but not photo realistic. Shadows in many places are wrong, some of the distance effects are flat and wrong, and some of the shapes of the objects are a bit distorted. Good painting, but not realistic perfect.

Now many of those are what I call photo realistic paintings. Not all, but many most in that article. I still don't know why there are so many Angela Jolie paintings done though.
