I actually recently attended a lecture on some of the techniques used in forensics to determine whether photographs have been manipulated. Really interesting stuff. At any rate, when passed through the appropriate filtering algorithms it is usally pretty easy to determine whether a photo has been chopped. Unfortunately, I don't have access to said algorithms

The shadow and lighting is subtly off. The flash would most likely have a wider area of spread and there would be some sort of reflection off of the glass elements in the picture.

If nobody were to ask if it were chopped or not, you most likely wouldn't be able to tell unless you're specifically looking for flaws/outlines/shadows. So I voted no.
