I started out with photobucket before they sucked, and now they truly suck. The suckage is becoming epic.
Where are you guys keeping phone photos where you can easily link them up and share on the web?

Google Photos. Works on Android/iOS, easily sharable, and free unlimited storage (with quality restrictions). You can also upload original quality photos but it will count towards your Google Drive storage.

thanks guys. My dropbox is full :)
I'm looking for direct links like we use here. I know imgur lets that happen, does google photos?

Flickr is a good bet. It's definitely intended for shutterbugs (it's big on albums, collections, tagging and the like), but I use it all the time for the photos I want to preserve and share for the ages. I'm on Flickr Pro so I can't attest to how well the free tier works, but 1TB of free space? That's a lot. I've been using it since 2009 and I've barely made a drop in the bucket.

I'd be careful with the Flickr, as well as the android app which hasn't been updated since 2015. Yahoo hasn't exactly been concerned with security in years.

Google Photos for me. You can easily share individual photos or entire albums with a simple link, and the people you send them to don't need an account to view the items you share. The interface is also good on mobile, be it Android or iOS.
