Ok, I'm looking for something that is as smooth as picasa, and has direct editing of ITPC data (caption and keywords mostly) on the fly. Meaning, I can edit it while I'm looking at the picture, and then go to the next one.. without having to open up a new properties box.
picasa requires you to open the keywords properties.. and is limitied to only captions and keywords I think.
acdsee pro is a $90 upgrade from my version 7... and kinda slow sometimes. But it does do what I want, and I'm used to it.
Basic curves editing and color correction would be nice too.. and of course I doubt I'll find that in anything free... but thought I'd throw it out there too.
I'm probably just going to go for it, but was curious as to if anything else is out there I'm missing. Thumbs+ might be another option, but I hate the interface. iMatch is also somewhat difficult to use I believe. I'm mainly working w/ jpegs, so raw support is moot.
And if you're curious, I want ITPC data support because 1) it's always there, so if I pick something else to manage later for some reason, it should be able to import that data 2) I'm using flickr to keep a backup of all my images.. and it supports ITPC
Thanks
