My Samsung Galaxy Nexus needs replacement. Badly.

I am not all that impressed with the GS6 nor G4. I want to wait it out for the next Nexus phone(s) in September.

But I need a capable smartphone in the interim, preferably one that gives me 2G/3G/LTE speeds in both the US and in the EU. The $180 Moto G 2nd Gen is tempting but they don't offer one version that supports all of the bands I need.

Why do they do this? Why not one bloody phone that supports all the bands except maybe CDMA? Why do they fragment like this? Don't they know that the world is full of people who hopscotch continents???

Any suggestions?

Import a decent Chinese phone via Aliexpress. I got my K3 Note (T50 version) for 180 dollars and it is basically on par with 2014 phones, it's GPU is head to head with the S801 GPU(Adrena 430).

Or take the new Meizu Note M2, recently announced (even if it has worse specs than the K3 T50).

Basically I don't see why anyone should spend more than 200-250 at most on a phone these days. You get very high quality stuff for that, something Xiaomi has proved.
