So my phones no longer holding a charge for very long so I need to consider my options now; not going to try to replace my battery when I really want a new phone. Right now I have an HTC 6800 with an alltel plan 85$ with 5 friends (unlimited minutes/texts) and unlimited internet. Verizon doesn't seem to have shit for phones though. I could get the preowned droid x or droid 2 for like 70$ with renewed contract (I wouldn't spend much more on a single core phone anyway). I seem to get decent service around here so I wouldn't mind being with them, and one of the droids would be a huge step up from a 6800 although I was really hoping to hold out for a dual core phone.

Now, AT&T pretty much has the phone I want spec wise (atrix), which I'd be willing to drop the 200 for, but their data plans seem ultra crappy. 4 gigs for 45$ is ridiculous. So with their worst phone plan + 4 gigs I'd be paying the same now a month (actually more with tax), but getting less. I don't know how AT&T service is around here. Going to ask around the office tomorrow.

Grr, my life would be much simpler if Verizon had the atrix.

So I'm stuck between these two choices and maybe possible other suggestions.

I believe there is a CDMA version on the way, called the Droid Bionic iirc. Differences will of course be CDMA (ikd if 4g/lte will be included) and it has less ram, 512mb vs. 1gb for the Atrix.

edit: Looks like it will be 4g as well.

Yea, I wish it was 768 or 1 gig ram, but I think I'd get it if they had it available now >.< Not sure how much longer I can wait. I don't need my phone a lot, but when I do it's usually pretty important would suck a lot to not have one then T.T
