My friend is getting DSL and has two computers. He already has a NIC (that's not being used) in computer A, which the DSL will be going to. He has computer B that he also wants to have access. The house is such that cat5 can't be run. That leaves phoneline and wireless. I'd much rather go with phoneline because of how much cheaper it is.
Is there any reason DSL, PNA, and voice can't be run on the same line?
How do I go about directly connecting two computers via phone line cards? Do I need some kind of crossover phone cable? Or do I just plug both computers straight into the wall?
