I know it's insane, but I'm one of those people who don't mind using a headset.
My phone is a decade old (literally) and the battery is totally shot (otherwise I would keep it).
I want a new device and I just can't fathom why everybody wants to spend $600 on a phone, $600 on a tablet, AND $600 on a laptop. When a single $600-800 device, with same hardware as the phones and tablets, could do it all.
I've never had an Android, iOS, or WinMo device...I don't know the first thing about them.
I have no idea what they can do (that Windows can't?), or why people are so obsessed with them. I really don't care to much either...I just want a real windows tablet/laptop device that can place calls and receive text. I'd want internet and GPS as well.
I'm guessing I'll be going with TMobile or StraightTalk or some no contract service.
Is there anything out there like this? I don't mind if its one of the new Atom chips...my desktop is from 2006. I do like the idea of the transformer units, especially the ones from Asus that have a battery in the keyboard for extra long run time.
