I know it's insane, but I'm one of those people who don't mind using a headset.

My phone is a decade old (literally) and the battery is totally shot (otherwise I would keep it).
I want a new device and I just can't fathom why everybody wants to spend $600 on a phone, $600 on a tablet, AND $600 on a laptop. When a single $600-800 device, with same hardware as the phones and tablets, could do it all.

I've never had an Android, iOS, or WinMo device...I don't know the first thing about them.
I have no idea what they can do (that Windows can't?), or why people are so obsessed with them. I really don't care to much either...I just want a real windows tablet/laptop device that can place calls and receive text. I'd want internet and GPS as well.

I'm guessing I'll be going with TMobile or StraightTalk or some no contract service.

Is there anything out there like this? I don't mind if its one of the new Atom chips...my desktop is from 2006. I do like the idea of the transformer units, especially the ones from Asus that have a battery in the keyboard for extra long run time.

The Asus Fonepad does use an Intel Atom Z2420, but it runs Android. That's the closest I can think of. Maybe someone could get it to run Windows.

I believe the new Dell Venue Pro and HP Omni 10 tablets can be configured with 3G/LTE. The size will require you to use a headset for calls.

I think you are going to have to go Android to get an all in one device.

Get the latest Asus Transformer with 4G and use Skype or Google Voice for you phone calls.

Or, the Asus Padfone and find a keyboard for it.

Or get a phablet, Fonepad, Galaxy Note 3, Sony Xperia Z Ultra, etc., and a Bluetooth keyboard.
