Phone streaming video to PC via WIFI without router

Hi,

So guys, i want to setup an old android phone i have as a WIFI security camera, i would like it to stream and save the content directly to my PC via WIFI.

The issue is, i don't have a router.

I only have a PC with WIFI card and the phone, do you guys know how i may be able to do this ?

Go get a cheap router?

On your computer you should be able to create internet sharing and bridge with the WiFi.
You can also establish a direct wifi connection, intended for sharing files directly between two wireless devices.
