Phone ringing in "Come Sail Away"

anyone listen to Styx? In the song "Come Sail Away", on the CD Styx: Greatest Hits, Track 9, at some point, i think it's after the gathering of angels in the chorus of Come sail away, i think there's a phone ringing. I have heard it many times, because i listen to it through headphones i can never tell if it's a phone call that I just missed or not. BTW, there's a phone right next to me that lights up like Las Vegas if i do get a call. so im pretty sure it's the song.

anyone else notice this?

can you post exactly what moment you hear it? like what minute and second interval does it occur around?

is this going to turn into an urban legend like ohio players "love rollercoaster" where they say the lady screaming at the beginning of the track is getting killed...

WTF? I've been listening to this song since it came out and I never noticed a phone ringing!!!

Post the time...I'm curious.

I think they secretly put the sounds of phones ringing that can only be heard if you play the song at loud volumes. This is for people at home so that when they are listening to it, are constantly turning it down because they think their phone is ringing.

nah, its just sound of the phone accidentally ringing while theyre putting subliminal messages into the songs.

If you play it backwards, you hear touch tones.....

::come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with meeeeeee(phone ringing... [whispering:"hello?" "uhm, were recording right now, ill call you back later, ok?])eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee::

im fairly sure i heard it at 4 minutes 58 seconds into the song. maybe it's just the remix on the greatest hits cd.

Edit: Definitely heard it at 5 minutes 18 seconds.

I just checked it out. At 5:18, it's not a phone ringing, it's just a quick little guitar trick. And it's on both the original and the greatest hits versions.

Just listened to it as well and i agree with Vic. Sounds like it is the result of a little high guitar trick and some cymbal crashing happening at the same time.
