Phone Question for College Students...

I know that you and your room mate share a phone line, but who pays the bill? You or the school... And can anyone recommend any cell phone service plans? Going to Rochester (RIT), and want to call around New York/New Jersey border. Thanks a lot

At Purdue, local service was paid for by the dorm. Actually it was part of tuition. However, for long distance all students were provided with AT&T calling cards which bills were sent to the student once a month for their usage.

haha.. you go to RIT too? have fun livin in those shatty dorms. Most local calls are free... and they have a phone plan with AT&T there, and you basically punch in your numbers and at the end of the month the bill shows up in your mailbox.

I love my roommates dearly, but the one thing I don't want to split is a phone bill. I use my cell.
