IOS and Android for me

Don't cop out. You have to choose.

I carry a iPhone 5, a Droid RAZR HD, a BBZ10 and a Lumia 521 right now. But the iPhone is still my daily driver. What's yours?

I expect something like 60% Android, 20% iOS, 15% Windows Phone, and 5% other.

That's very surprising to me. When I've got some time, I'm going to look at this IDC Wordwide report to see where they're getting their data. Maybe iOS actually does have that "little" market share. It seems contrary to what I've seen in my every day life...not that I think all of my friends/family/coworkers/acquaintances are a representative sample of global smartphone users, but I see much more iPhone daily than anything else.

Well in the US iOS is somewhere around 40% I believe, so basically they do really well in two markets - the US and I think the other is Japan - but not so well in the rest of the world.

I like seeing WP getting some love finally. The big 2 need more competition so the carries and us don't keep getting hosed..

They're definitely not iOS fanboys.

I bought the Lumia 920 as my first smartphone, so I'm on WP.

I voted Windows Phone. Just bought a used 920 to replace my iPhone 4S. I liked iOs and prefer it in tablet form over android ( currently iPad mini, which replaced an asus transformer infinity, which replaced a Samsung galaxy tab 7. Never used win in tablet flavor.) but I got bored with iOs on my tiny 4S, and since I'm a self proclaimed geek, I took a dip into WP8 and really like it. The only app I truly miss is Waze, which is supposed to be released for WP soon

I was hanging out with some friends the other day (we're all engineers), and we were talking about using tablets instead of computers. I think I made some remark about the iPad, and someone says, "What kind of engineer would buy an Apple device!?" I pulled my phone out of my pocket and held it up with a sad expression, which was first met with bewilderment, "What?" Someone else chimed in, "That's... an iPhone." "Oh..."
