Phone bill higher than electric bill..

Wtf? Looking over my bills and the thought came over me that my wireless bill is higher than my electric and some months it's as high as my water and electric. Insanity.

$50 prepaid verizon phone card with unlimited talk, text and web ftw!

Paying up the ass for that 4g isn't worth it for me.

$32-$41 Unlimited talk/text/Web*

I think my electrical is about $55-$70 per month. Cheap electricity here in the Midwest.

That's when you switch to a more affordable carrier. The only reason why I had stuck with Verizon for so long was because I had unlimited data but more importantly my employer was paying my bill.

I pay $71/month for 450 minutes/unlimited texts/data and the NFL mobile app on Verizon....not too bad considering I rarely go over on minutes. (like once every 2 years)

I'm getting ass raped because I live in a condo. For whatever reason, condos always seem to be incredibly hot. My thermostat is turned all the way down and I've closed the water valves, but it's still at least 80 degrees all the time. That's fine if I'm standing or sitting, but it gets hot as hell if I'm laying down because my mattress is foam. My last bill was $110/month because the AC is running all night just so I can sleep properly. I never use the AC during the day. No I'm not overweight.

I have 2 smart phones and one dumb phone on Verizon. My monthly bill is $184 and is my highest utility expense.

Yeah, it sucks but it's the only game in town.

Well, since my phone bill is for me and the wife, plus with that family plan thing, she got cell phones for her parents so they could always call in case of problems, and I think we still cover one of our sons who moved out... my phone bill ranks 3rd among monthly bills - after the two mortgages (two houses) it's next. Edit: I take it back. I think gasoline outranks it.

Jesus.. get a budget carrier. I use consumer cellular, which uses AT&T network, and I get 1500 minutes, thousands of texts, and 2GB data that I share between 2 smartphones for a total of $85/month.

Same service is double with AT&T

I think i just learned that im getting ripped off by Verizon. I pay $83/month with limited text (250/mo) and data (2GB) with unlimited talk. My power bill is consistently about $60/month.

Back in the Soviet Union, we would kill people like you.

I'll second the vote for a budget carrier, and don't sign any contracts. That way you can jump ship if another carrier offers a great deal.

3 phones, unlimited txts, 1500 minutes, 1 with 500mb data, 1 with 2 gb data and 1 with unlimited data

$120 a month. I think I did pretty well

My electricity bill is around $280/month and the cell bill is $225/month so they aren't that far off each other.

I'm paying about $54/month (total bill is $215/4) on Sprint family plan with unlimited text/data, 1500 shared mins, unlimited mobile to mobile and nights/weekends free starting at 7PM.

My last electric bill was about $40. Phone service is pretty expensive.

My wireless phone bill (4G LTE and all that BS on Samsung GS3 = free (work)

I still hardly ever use the piece of shit. I would never pay for such service....
