Pho...how much do you pay for it?

No more than $5-10...to me, pho will always be a comfort, friends-out food...making it all fancy (don't even know how you'd do it) would just ruin it for me.

There's one in Garden Grove that's very cheap. $3.75 for a large bowl. Everything else is cheap too. The most expensive thing (diced beef with rice) is only $5.75 when it costs around $7-8 at other Pho places.

what's it called?

i think it was 4 bucks back in san jose, but i haven't had pho up there in forever. there's this one place i call "3.95" (it used to be 3.50) back in san jose that had cheap pho.

I don't know the name, but it's at the intersection of 1st street and Harbor Blvd. (go on 405, exit on Harbor Blvd., go north. once u hit 1st street, bust a U, then immediately take a right into the plaza)

Edit: OK, i tried to look it up on google. It's actually in Santa Ana, it's called Pho Cali.

Here in Irvine, it's probably $6-7 for a bowl of Pho or Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio. But back in San Gabriel/Alhambra/Westminister it's $4.50-$4.75!

U vinh na me boi?

Woot! I live in San Gabriel and really close to Alhambra! Pho is crazy! Vietnamese people FTW!

But uhh...my mom usually makes the pho. Tastes somewhat better than the restaurants' and no MSG at ALL!

Saigon Flavor FTW. And Pho Cali is only 15 minutes away from Irvine, I'll chcek it out some day.

$4-5 on the Ave if I recall. I'm not a big fan of pho though.

Also, from what I recall reading, MSG really isn't that bad for you.

Where in irvine do u go? Those are irvine prices for ya. To whoever said MSG is bad for you. I know it is. But it's in our diet, so used to it. Lived on eating pho. All the one's in westminster taste the same. Yes, I am vn.

i thought "msg is bad for you" is a myth, but in reality its like any other spice out there. Its just that the western world didn't evolve with it so their bodies can't handle it as well

had pho tonight at one of the cheap but good places in SF on irving st. $5.20 for a large #1. at some of the higher class vietnamese restaurants (if there is such a thing), it runs about $6-7.

White guy posting: Chinese noodle soups are so much bettr than the Viet kind.

Guy from HK taught me about both. Chinese style kicked mucho ass!

$5-6 large bowl

fvckin ohio

$7 or so CDN. But i almost never eat pho out, i prefer my mom's. Tastes better, and i get to load it with tripe, beef, and oxtails.
