PHO for dinner = Da ShizNit! Anyone here a "regular" pho eater?

After eating pho, I am always thirsty.
Must've been something in the soup.

Most of the time I got the one with meatballs and rare beef, sometimes everything.
Regular bowl pho just doesn't cut it, you'll get hungry again fast.

Try the dry pho (rice noodle with fried spring rolls and bbq beef). Good stuff.
 
I can eat pho for breakfast, lunch, and diner. Pho is yummy and healthy (at least compare to burgers and fries). I eat pho at many locations (NYC, FL, TX, GA, and on). I think I need to move closer to a place with more pho restaurants.
 
Yeah, Pho makes you really thirsty for some reason. I think it's because of all the sodium that's in it, ie. the salt and the MSG. One time I went to the bathroom in a pho place, and the garbage can was an empty 50 gallon barrel originally for MSG. :Q

msg is naturally found in tomatoes. and not all places use msg when making the soup base.
 
There's several Pho restaurants in Reno. I used to go up once a week, but now it's about 1½ times a month on average. Good stuff!
 
Pho's good stuff. You just have to find a good place for it because many of them use what appears to be grade-F beef. 😛
 
Yup. The only downside is that if I go have Pho for lunch, everyone knows where I went for lunch and say to me "go take a shower!"

haha exactly, the smell is soo good! but like said above, you are hungry again like 30 minutes later, even after eating the 4.95/bowl large. yes it does give a good smell to you after you eat it.
