I got a lot of sleep in philosophy class :D

The worst thing is having a boring professor who says he is open to discussion, but angrily shoots down anything resembling a contrary argument, even if it's well-defended and coherent.

I took it to fulfill a humanities requirement. Only plus side of that class was learning a little about the Peloponnesian War. I love ancient history and found that interesting.

I enjoyed my philosophy class but I think I actually had a decent prof. We would read several sides of any argument and he spent equal time in class covering all sides. Really the worst part of the class were the other students who would bring their heavily politicized/religious view into every discussion trying to make everything lib vs. con or christian vs. everything else.

I thoroughly enjoyed me ethics 101 class. It really opened my eyes how people came up with legit theories to explain life outside of religion or atheism.

This; pretty much my entire university career.

I took a course called "Central Problems in Philosophy", which mostly dealt with the arguments for or against God, and other controversial stuff like that. I took another class called "History of Science and Metaphysics", which probably wasn't as interesting, but I did get the pleasure of learning about Intelligent Design in that class. :p

So, you slept with your philosophy professor, and she wouldn't shut up and you were like "I just want to go to sleep now" and she kept going on and on and on?

I took a couple of classes in formal logic, one in informal logic / critical thinking, and a philosophy of science class for breadth of study requirements and all were at least mildly interesting.

They were also pretty easy since I was a comp sci major with a minor in applied math.

This. It is normal for the quality of the professor to influence the quality of the overall course, but I think they make a much larger difference in subjects that are "soft."

There was a hardcore Jesus fanatic in one of the philosophy classes I took in college. Damn near everything she said involved Jesus in some manner, and any arguments she'd make seemed to assume that "Jesus" was the magic word to instantly and simultaneously end and win a debate. It really didn't work out so well for her, and she ended up dropping the course in less than 2 weeks.

I got a 103 percent in my logic class. We had three grades (3 tests ) and I showed up the first day and for each test. Loved it

It was just part of His plan.

I'm not aware of too many things, but I know what I know if you know what I mean.
