philosophy is beautiful

I feel that same way about ethics 🙂 I'm taking a second Ethics course this semester for an additional elective 🙂

whatever dude....I have inherited a rather dreary disposition from being in Engineering-only classes and I was actually happy today...

As far as I am concerned you can fvk off...

Happiness > "7331 technical prospective major"

I may very well be an engineer, but this is my starting point....

Dreary disposition from engineering classes... Sounds like you're being coerced by someone or something to take that course in life, which isn't a good thing.

engineering?

the only engineering courses that I've liked have been the math courses, which I loved. Other than that I really haven't liked my eng. at all, regardless of what I preach in the heat of the moment

I am taking a philosophy class this summer as well.....Political Theory, but really it is a lot of philosophy as well....Aristotle, Plato, Marx, Mill....very interesting.....😉

 I mentioned this already in an earlier thread of yours, but I really enjoyed classes like non-Western Music, Art & literature of the Renaissance, and several English classes I took in between all the math and CS classes for my BS CS.

I didn't take any "real" philosophy classes though, just a couple of semesters of formal logic and a "philosophy of science" class.
